Today I decided to harness more positivity by starting this journal. I will write about the positive things that happen every day.
I spent time with my mom for the past 5 days, nursing her as she recovered from surgery. I took my boys with me. She loves the boys. Bandit spent every day next to her until she started feeling better. I'd post a pic, but she'd kill me. She's been feeling better since yesterday and started sleeping next to me. Gizmo had a good time too, even though he had to go to the vet a few days ago. He got so much attention, he was a happy bunny.
My mom is so sweet and loving. She wants to give me everything even though she has so little. I want to learn to have more patience with her and be nicer to her.
I came home and was too happy to be back that I decided not to go out for the fourth today. I was gong to ride my bike to see fireworks on the beach with some friends. I am perfectly content sitting on the couch next to my resting Dido. The boys had fun at grandma, but they too are glad to be home. I'm glad I'm going to be here when the fireworks start going off - they get so scared.
I have a job interview tomorrow. I was reading over all the nice things Dawn and Carmen said about me. It was a confidence boost. I've been prepping the past couple of days. The job description seems to be a good match and I was recommended by the department head whom I interviewed with previously. I think my chances at this one are good.
